Best Bond Themes

No Time to Die – got pushed back, but that does not mean we can’t talk about the best (and worst) Bond themes of all time. From Shirley Bassey to Paul McCartney, Madonna, and Jack White, many have tried, only a few have succeeded in creating a classic.

Two entertainment industry veterans with over 35 years of combined experience. Drew on the creative side and Dan on the research side. Hear insights, stories and commentary with a unique and funny perspective from two guys who should know better.

Hi guys – terrific show and a worthy topic! My choices are similar, but for several reasons #1 MUST be Shirley Bassey’s Goldfinger. There’s no competition for worst, which goes to Madonna.

However, my Honorable Mention could be divisive – for not only best Bond opening credits but the song as well: Celine Dion’s Ashes, for Deadpool 2. Please discuss!

There should be an entire episode on Kiss Kiss Bang Bang (I believe mentioned in another great episode…)

    Hey guys,

I enjoyed the show on happy songs. Though it was on neither of your lists, you’re not fooling anyone. We know when know when Mmmbop comes on the radio, you crank it up with big grins on your faces as you sing along. I was also quite surprised Drew didn’t have OK Go’s Here It Goes Again on his list. I remember the video was like porn for him when it first came out. These lists are typically subjective; but for neither of you to mention I’m Into Something Good is just wrong. On it’s own it should be near the top; but having it on the Naked Gun soundtrack should sway any doubters. Some others that deserve consideration: a guilty pleasure of mine, Walking on Sunshine, Good Vibrations, Semi Charmed Life, and the sub genre of jump songs, Van Halen’s Jump, Jump (for you Love) Pointer Sisters, Jump Around by House of Pain, and Jump by Kris Kross.
